A collaboration between Academy award-winning actor Jamie Foxx and award-winning playwright David E. Talbert yielded NBC's theatrical event of the year. JAMIE FOXX'S UNPREDICTABLE: A MUSICAL JOURNEY (written, co-produced and staged by Talbert) was the first of its kind - part stageplay, part musical concert. This unprecedented television spectacle featured chart-topping vocalist and duets with Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Angie Stone, Common and the legendary Stevie Wonder.

 

   

Stage black

Stage Black became TV One's first reality competition series. Co-created by Lyn Talbert and produced alongside Tracey Edmonds, Blair Underwood and Morris Chestnut, Stage Black was the first ever behind-the-scenes look into the wild and wacky world of touring theater as 10 contestants were chosen to sing, act, scratch and claw their way to a once-in-a-lifetime chance to star in an upcoming Talbert production.
